NFL embraces new world of Twitter
Most interesting part in here was about how there's no system in place to truly verify that an account holder is who they say they are.

Rich Eisen, himself a monumental twitter fiend and NFL Netowrk host, is generally a good verification. Eisen will let people know if it’s bogus (like Peyton Manning) or legit. Also, Chris Brown at BB.com lets people know when a Bills player joins.
