An interesting quote from Jason Peters
There are a couple of interesting things in the article from the Philadeplhia Enquirer. Among those, this quote:
"I was shocked," Peters said. "I had no clue. I had just told Buffalo I was going to play two more years there and I was done with them. And then my agent [Eugene Parker] called."
I think this puts an end to the "Bills not willing to pay the man" theory.

The most interesting thing to me about the article was the comment Peters made about the pass blocking style of the Eagles vs. the Bills (angled vs. straight back). Can anyone share any wisdom about that?
Wouldn't it be ironic if this team imploded and it had nothing to do with TO?

Thanks God He's gone!
People rag on TO for “loving me some me”…. here’s a tub-o-lard, egocentric holding infraction machine who, IMHO, is vastly overrated………
If Peters feels the pressure of being called the best left tackle in football by his coach, he didn’t show it during training camp.
“I’ve been showing that the last four or five years I’ve been playing the position, so he didn’t really have to say that,” Peters said.
How sweet will it be to watch Eric Wood manhandle folks when Peters melts down & is exposed for the fake he is.

How exactly does this put an end to the “Bills not willing to pay the man” theory? It’s just as likely that Peters got sick of the lowball offers he was receiving and decided he would simply play out his contract and hit free agency. All this quote tells us is that negotiations had become so acrimonious that Peters was not willing to re-sign. It doesn’t offer any insight to the inner workings one way or another.

If this is true, it would actually make me feel worse
If Peters was resigned to playing here for two more years under his current contract, then why would we trade him now. If I remember correctly, Peters was going to hold out again, so I am going to believe that Peters is lying out his extremely large pie hole.

I'm confused by his quote:
I had just told Buffalo I was going to play two more years there and I was done with them.
So he was saying he’d play 2 more years and then was going to leave the team?
