We're halfway through the divisional round of the NFL playoffs, and to this point, home teams have held serve, with top seeds New Orleans and Indianapolis blowing out the opposition on Saturday. Today, we kick things off in Minnesota, where the Brett Favre-led Vikings take on Tony Romo's Cowboys.
This will be perhaps the most evenly-matched game of the weekend, as the two teams are quite similar. Both have gunslinging quarterbacks, strong offensive lines and running games, excellent pass rushes and the ability to make plays defensively. This could either be a low-scoring defensive battle, or it could turn into a shootout. Either way, we expect it to be close, which would be an improvement over five of the six playoff games we've seen so far this year.
