Why I like Gailey and why I don't care about scheme

I don't care what offensive system the Bills run. In fact I don't care what they run on defense either. The Bills could run the wing - T, the run and shoot, the west coast offense or even the option and I won't care. Defensively they could go the 4-6 route or even the 3-4 or stick with the Tampa 2, and I won't care at all.

Here's the deal. The Bills need to start from scratch. They need to develop a competent NFL QB and improve the talent on the offensive line and the defensive front seven. The rest doesn't matter too much right now. The Bills are like the bad golfer, the guy who goes out and is lucky to get a double bogey mainly because he has a terrible swing, poor mechanics, and can't putt to save his life, BUT he is going to go out and buy a new set of clubs hoping that will help. The Bills need to fix the major points before getting fancy and worrying about the details. Lets fix the mechanics and and work on our putting before we worry about those new clubs.

Gailey is very good at developing young QBs, or at the very least, getting the most out of lesser talent. The rest is up to Nix. He needs to bring in the QB for Gailey to work with, improve the talent up front on both sides of the ball and the rest will work itself out. If Nix can get some real talent on defense to add to what little there is already here, and help build a solid o-line to go with the young QB for Gailey to help mold, the Bills will be more competitive and start to look like a solid team regardless of what system they choose to run.

So in short, lets learn how to putt before we spend $200 bucks on a new putter.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
