Wow. What a couple weeks this has been, and on top of that, an even more electrifying 36 hours. By the time many of you read this, you will most likely have woken up to the wonderful news of John Guy's stealth firing. Also, reports have come in that the Bills did in fact contact Mike Nolan about the defensive coordinator position, as well as the many other names being revealed as possible interested candidates for the head coaching vacancy, albeit being well on the way to landing Gailey (and if the Bills were able to talk with Nolan and Gailey with no media mention, who knows what other names could have been looked at). So there is no reason to say that the Bills skimped on the coaching search and only delved to the bottom of the barrel for a candidate. Buddy went out and got his man, plain and simple. I am going to assume that many probably still don't trust Nix and his hire just yet, but maybe the news that he removed one of the most vilified members of Buffalo's front office can convince people that Nix is here for the right reasons and is off to a very good start at rebuilding a franchise nearly in shambles. So since we are two days removed from, and two days more informed after a controversial hiring, I think a "second thoughts" poll is in order.
