"His release might be a little low at this point, but a lot of people talked about Philip Rivers' delivery too before he was drafted, and look at what he's done. I've heard all the supposed [negatives]. But I watched [Tebow] on the field and his velocity is good enough, and so is his accuracy. As far as his learning, you don't have to tell him anything twice. And he's a student of the game. I recommended that he watch some tapes of Steve Young, and he said, 'Oh, I've already done that.' He wants to be good. He wants to succeed. And he will succeed."
Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow scores big with former NFL talent evaluator - ESPN
Former NFL GM Ken Herock really likes Tim Tebow. He added that Tebow's "by far the best [prospect] with whom I've ever worked."

FYI
it’s behind the pay wall, so if you dont have an espn insider account you won’t be able to read the article.
...so I guess now I root for chan gailey...
I am sure
There will be plenty of “experts” out there that say he has what it takes and plenty that will say he will be a “bust”… Some team that doesn’t need a franchise QB right away will make a play for him in the lower first round. No-way he falls to Buffalo in the 2nd round.
IGNORE THIS
go read Silverstreak’s fanshot. He scooped me.

It's Hard to Predict the Busts, But Most of Them Have a Weak Mind ...
I assure you that Tim Tebow will not be that type. He’s not a head case. He’s not a prima donna. He’s a great big athelete with a huge desire to win. Are there technical issues to be concerned about? Yes, but don’t overlook a monster athlete who’s a winner. SOMEBODY will win with this guy. I’m not saying the Bills should take him because I might prefer OL first, but I would be psyched if they did take him.
Pretty much...
on the money.
in a salary cap era, no single unit (offense or defense) should be consistently sub-average for such a long stretch.
I would draft Tim Tebow
He has done way too much in the best conference in the country to pass him by. I believe the chances are better that he will be mentioned in the same breath as Joe Montana and Tom Brady than Ryan Leaf and Tim Couch.
I would draft Tebow as well.........
but I’d hold off comparsions to Brady and Montana…………let him be Tebow………..he’s nothing like those other guys.
Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. - Peter Gibbons
