Hi. Avid reader, first significant post.
First - The Bills have no shot at getting Jimmy Clausen or Sam Bradford in the 2010 Draft unless they trade up which will not happen. Clausen will land with either the Seahawks or Rams, and Bradford will land with the Redskins.
The Bills should use their picks the best way possible and this is how I think they should draft:
1st round - Rolando McClain (LB) - We missed out on Willis a few years ago and our LBs need serious improvement
2nd round - OT - I cannot give a name because draft day is full of surprises but the OT class this year is deep with no clear superstar.
3rd round - Pat Angerer (LB)
4th round - OT
Second - I believe that this years QB class is very weak after Clausen and Bradford. Tebow is heavily scrutinized but it makes sense. I am a HUGE fan of Tim. His leadership skills are unparalleled. He reacts under pressure very well, and has a strong frame. But his mechanics are absolutely horrific. And the senior ball has so far dropped his stock further. We have to pick up a QB in free agency - Jason Campbell, Michael Vick.
Third - Realistically speaking the Bills will draft top five next year. Even if we do not get our QB this year, we can hope to grab Jake Locker next year who would have been the top QB this year. But until then there are many other pieces that need to be filed, and very talented players in other categories that should be drafted on draft day.
