Strange timing
Day after the season is over? Was it ever proven that he was intoxicated that night? Seems to me that it would have been a bigger story and harsher charges filed if that were the case.
They couldn’t. He didn’t come forward until a few days later.

Reported at the time:
The victim, identified as a 27-year-old woman from suburban Toronto, had a bruised hip and a cut that required seven stitches, DeGeorge said.
Thats why i love America (sarcasm). Only here can something that got you a 100$ fine be turned two years later into
severe, painful and permanent injuries.

She was Canadian
Send her a case of Labatt’s, a box of donuts, a NY Driving manual, and a hockey hightlight DVD. That should shut her up.
Or New York could just threaten to invade Canada
unless the woman backs down. That ought to do the trick.

trade him!
He is one strike away from being suspended for a year and Fred Jackson is much better. Why pay all that money to someone who doesn’t even carry the ball that much. The Bills can draft a good RB in the draft in the later rounds. Tired of Lynch’s act.
Lynch will be a model citizen from now on. He is the better back and will bounce back next year if he can be taught to stop trying to make all those friggin moves and just hit the hole like Freddy does.
Lynch will be a model citizen from now on.
I wouldn’t bet on that.
No weekend spent pantsless is a wasted weekend.
Lynch will be a model citizen from now on.
I wouldn’t bet on that either. I spent too many years in the Air Force trying to teach NCOs to quit telling their younger Airmen who had already made a dumb mistake that they were “just going to have to be the model Airman from now on.” For most of these kids, if they knew how to be “the model Airman,” they would already have been doing it. But it takes real time, effort, and insight on behalf of a supervisor to help that troubled person turn his or her life around.
Don’t see that happening with Lynch. His next off-field problem is likely to be not far off. I’ll be pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong.

Don’t those contradict one another?

First Rounders
They can’t keep wasting their first round picks. Too much invested now. They need to ride the Marshawn horse until he can’t play anymore
this is nothing
old news just someone trying to make some money, this will have nothing to do with the NFL

Highly doubt she will accomplish much from it, seeing that there already has been a verdict, but what do I know?

Now we get to see what kind of man Lynch really is...
Considering his disaster of a season and now the lawsuit, it’s gut-check time for Marshawn. He will either man up and gain character by overcoming the adversity, or else be destroyed by his own ego-driven self pity.

How did he not just settle up with her right after the incident? He should have just said “Here’s a 100 grr, now go away.” Stupid, just stupid. I actually hopes she takes him for a good chunk of loot. Maybe it’ll wake up some of these clowns…
maybe at the time she didnt demand money?
maybe she had no intention to sue until recently? i dont think its stupid to not give away a large amount of money that doesnt deserve it….. im sure marshawn will settle this out of court, but i dont think its right for a woman that got 7 stitches to walk away with 100G.
