Another seemingly bad season has Bills fan excited for one reason. That is the #1 overall draft pick in the NFL (or at least a very pick). Now the question that comes to mind is who do the Bills draft first. Most people assume (and rightly so) that the Bills need a franchise quarterback. The obvious choice then is to draft a quarterback, right? Yes and no. Potential NFL starting quarterbacks are thin provided that Andrew Luck decides to stay with Stanford for at least one more season (for academic purposes). The only seniors that even rate as first round quarterbacks are Jake Locker of Washington and Christian Ponder of Florida State (the latter is ranked as a late first rounder).
