I understand he's this supreme and omnipotent offensive genius, but he's costing us games.

What's that?  The run defense is costing us games?

Sure.  I can agree with that.  I also agree that our pass rush is pathetic.

However.

Our shoddy run defense didn't call passes at the end of regulation, when we were just outside of Lindell's field goal range.

Our terrible pass rush didn't do the same, 3 times in a row if I remember correctly, when the KC Chiefs had no timeouts left, there was 1:20 seconds left on the game clock, and all it would have taken is a few decent runs to set up the field goal.  

Nope; instead, Gailey decided to use poor game management skills to give KC three more timeouts instead of chewing up the gameclock and trying to kick a field goal with no time remaining.

Thank you, Chain Gailey.  Thank you.

Once again, I will not blame him for our defense losing us games, but when we have a clear opportunity to win, and we lose due to head-scratching playcalling, there's no excuse.
