Let me start off by saying that I understand that I don't HAVE to listen to the WGR post game show with Schopp and The Bulldog.  I know that...I get it.  But yet week, after week- loss after loss, I tune in...for about 20 minutes or so.  Then I tune out.

Before I go off on a tangent, let me break down their post game show, after the exceptionally heart breaking loss today.

It started off with a caller talking about how he disagreed with the Bills decision to throw the ball on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down while the bills were on the 42 yard line.  The caller made the point that, with solid running backs like Fred Jackson, and your #1 pick overall CJ Spiller in the backfield, you should be able to pick up 5-6 yards (At least...hopefully a 1st down).  The two idiots hosts refused to acknowledge that it made perfect football sense to try and gain a few more yards, in the least risky way as possible, so to get closer to field goal range, and in fact defended Chan Gaileys decision to throw (even though later in the game the two hosts let it be known that they think Fitzpatrick is a BAD QB and should be a back up). OK, whatever....

Next, a few more callers called about the same scenario (Lack of run attack, while being within 5 yards of field goal range).  This apparently set the hosts off.  They didn't want to hear about the callers opinions about how the play calling went.  They went as far as to say something along the lines of "you don't know anything about play calling, I don't know anything about it, why are we talking about this?" 

Is it just me, or isn't this the whole point of the show?  Of coarse I'm not a NFL play caller, but as a fan, if I want to discuss this, I should be able to.  But the hosts weren't having it.

Next, some guy called and (clearly) was trying to suck up to the hosts.  He said, "guys your right.  Everyone else is idiots, Chan Gailey was right with his play calling, he's doing a good job" (or something along those lines).  The host's then said "Really?  How is he doing a good job?  Give me one example?....

C'mon... Really?  You just finished defending Gailey to like 10 straight callers, now ONE guy agrees with you, and you change your mind... ugh...

Finally, the last straw.  About 10 calls in a row, and all these clowns do is respond with an "ok...", "Sure..." or a very condisending "Ok thanks for your expert opinion."

Honestly, its seems as though these two guys believe they are either that much more informed/smart/better fans then everyone else, or they legitimately hate their jobs.  But how two guys, who get paid to talk about sports all day, can come off as such Jackasses Jerks, is beyond me.....

Phew...sorry for the rant...I just couldn't help myself.... GO BILLS (Next year at least)
