Here is my thought process broken down by game:
New England - 247 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT. First game starting this year, decent performance
New York Jets - 128 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT. Good to see he cut out the interceptions, but he was only 44% in completions.
Jacksonville - 220 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT. I think this might have been his best game of the season behind the baltimore game.
Baltimore - 382 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT. The touchdowns are climbing and so are the yards, but the interceptions are reappearing.
Kansas City - 223 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. Only a 50% passer on this day, and didn't do much.
Chicago - 299 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT. Not a great game, if he hadn't thrown those two interceptions we would have one. I was at this game and especially the INT that was about 10 yards short of a streaking Stevie Johnson makes me wish for a strong-armed QB.
I might be wrong but it seems like Fitzpatricks season started off improving but now seems to be digressing. Let me know your thoughts.
(For reference here are his passer ratings by week: 92.4, 83.6, 121.5, 106.9, 61.4, 67.4)
