After missing the Buffalo Bills' last five games after having surgery to repair a nerve problem, cornerback Terrence McGee is set to return to the lineup this Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
"We didn't list him (on the injury report)," head coach Chan Gailey told reporters Friday. "He's ready to go."
Chris Brown at BuffaloBills.com notes that McGee is expected to be in the starting lineup. All year, Gailey has rested starters throughout the course of the game by rotating fresh players into the lineup, so even if McGee starts Sunday, expect to see healthy doses of Leodis McKelvin on the outside, as well.
Two players missed practice Friday: linebacker Shawne Merriman (Achilles) was ruled out of the contest on Thursday, and offensive lineman Cordaro Howard (shoulder) has been listed as doubtful. Gailey did tell reporters that Howard could probably play if needed, but it's likely that he's inactive for this one. Mansfield Wrotto will start at right tackle.
Five players who rested Wednesday, but practiced fully on Thursday and Friday, have been listed as probable: Lee Evans, Demetrius Bell, Eric Wood, Chris Kelsay and Reggie Corner.
