"For a running back a hamstring is always significant," Gailey said. "They haven’t given me a final report, but I can’t imagine [C.J. Spiller] playing this week. We’ll have to see how long it lasts."

The worst thing about a hamstring injury
is it has to be 100% before you go sprinting around again. It’s so easy to injure it again.
There’s no need to rush him back, even though he really needs to get more offensive reps….

Is a comment about the S&C appropriate here?

Ganther didn't show too much "burst" when he got into the game...
I hope we don’t have to rely on him much more than to give Fred a break now and again. Of course the guy probably only has about 20% of the plays down.
He's on the Colts active roster

If this were last week, I'd be nervous.
That was before Leo finally made DJ look smart for using him for kickoffs and before Fred-o showed up.
They just need a third down blocking back so that Fred can rest… maybe put Corey Mac as the lone setback on some long downs?
Returner?
McKelvin makes me very nervous on kickoff an punt returns. He has bad hands. Eventhough he returned one to the house. Injuries are catching up again. We wne from too many RBs to 1. 3 great returners to 1.

I'm even more nervous
at this point with Spiller returning. He doesn’t look like he protects the ball.

I’d say McKelvin has more of a history of fumbles than Spiller at this point. It’s too small a sample size to make any judgments on Spiller at this point, IMO. Add to that, ball security is one of the easier things to teach. Look at AP. He had 6 last year and 10 the year before that, but none so far this year.
