Game Ball for Donald Jones

I think Donald Jones was a revelation yesterday.  No, not the dropped pass from Fitz.  I'm talking the lead blocker, playing the position that Shawn Nelson and Jonathon Stupar can't seem to lock down.  Jones played the H-Back position, and I don't remember seeing a single play when he didn't get his hat on someone.  He sealed the backside amazingly well, perhaps with the exception when Kyle Vanden-Bosch ran through him.  But KVB had size and leverage, and Jones held him up enough to get a decent gainer on the play.

I'm excited for future plays involving Jones in that H-Back position.  I swear on one play that Coach Gailey tried to sneak Jones into the flat after faking a backside seal block.  Look for that to be a big play in the coming weeks out of that formation.  In the meantime, let's get a game ball to the rookie WR.  I'm interested to see what Ron notes about the young man.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
