Is the Bills defense really THAT bad?
After the Bills improve in two or three consecutive games, Shutdown Corner releases its "no-pro" team and three bills defenders are on it.
Aaron Maybin is an obvious pick, but Poz and Jairus Byrd?
I know Byrd hasn't been a ball hawk, but I wouldn't rate him as the worst or second worst FS. Poz is on pace for over 170 tackles. I don't know how true this is. Can anyone shed some light on these two players' seasons?

In a word, yes.
Buffalo’s defense is abysmal. True, the numbers have gotten better the past couple of weeks but some of that has been due to the teams Buffalo has faced. Even if the Bills put the brakes on the Bengals, well, it’s the Bengals. Buffalo’s defense won’t be taken seriously until the team can thwart good offenses.
It can always get worse. Let me tell you how.
Byrd has been a disgrace this year. Posluszny has, at best, taken a step back from his high water mark late last season. McKelvin and Florence have been rse than we could have hoped for (obviously, Florence made some awesome plays today though) and McGee looks done to me. Add in the fact that the coaching staff is scuffling on picking a scheme and yes, this defense is as bad as advertised.

Hate to say it, but Byrd has been pretty useless this year. Other times he has been an outright liability. Poz has been solid and getting better. No idea why I would focus on him as a problem.
