When Buffalo went to Baltimore the Bills broke out a new wrinkle in pass protection. Levitre or Wood pulled as though it was a run when it was in fact a pass play. The LBs were hesitant to drop back into coverage and Fitz enjoyed both time to throw and fairly soft coverages. While watching the Broncos game the MNF crew showed that the Broncos are using the same sort of pass protection. It's a copycat league so whose to say if Buffalo stole a good idea from the Broncos? If Gailey (re?)popularized the protection scheme, good for Gailey. If he simply copied something that was working for another team good for Gailey as well.
