Buffalo Bills inside linebacker Andra Davis has proven his toughness over the past three games by playing through a torn labrum in his shoulder.
Davis, signed as an unrestricted free agent by the Bills this past March, has amassed 41 tackles, a forced fumble and the Bills' lone interception of the season through six appearances this year. He has appeared in Buffalo's last three games despite the shoulder injury, and has missed just one contest (Week 4 against New York). A pro's pro, Davis is a big part of the league's worst run defense, but he gets bonus points in our book simply by powering through a pretty severe injury.
Unfortunately, there's a strong possibility that Davis is forced to miss his second game of the season this Sunday in Toronto. Davis has not practiced at all this week, and while head coach Chan Gailey hopes to have him on the practice field Friday, the shoulder injury does appear to be catching up with Davis in some capacity.
