Me and a friend had the privilege of attending the Bills open practice in June and feel in love with David Nelson as soon as we saw him run "hands down" the best routes out of the whole group. We both looked at each other and said "Where did David Nelson come from?" He was behind some major talent at UF and was infamous for his TD catch during the BCS championship but wasn't mentioned much before the draft.. But we can just tell that this kid just had it, he just had it.. and I'm happy he's working out for us, he reminds me alot of Brandon Stokley
But on to my next point, We both had mutual feelings for Brohm as we did for Nelson.. he didn't really have the deep ball on display and seemed to under throw some passes.. But looked like the best qb out of bunch like nelson did out of the wr, now I know that this is one open practice but how many of us where double blinking when they saw Brohm stay in the pocket with great poise during his preseason playing time.. maybe im bias because of trent but cmon man, Fitz is not the answer.. please be serious with yourself, the cinci game will turn out to be a fluke game, I just know it, if we don't draft luck or a qb in the first 2 rds we are going to be stuck in limbo..I have that feeling, but instead of us calling for the head of Fitz, and it will happen, when defenses start learning to attack his weaknesses and he's not able to make the same plays. He's ability to hit wr's in creases are amazing and gaily has been calling alot of those play, especially with roscoe, but how many passes are almost picked or underthrown or inaccurate.. too many to know that this guy is not worth the aggravation for the next couple of years.. I want to see how Brohm can do now before us even contemplating re-signing Fitz, give Brohm the same courtesy we gave Trent
Next time we are down by 21+ in the first half, put in Brohm
