Buffalo Bills safety Donte Whitner, who currently ranks sixth in the NFL with 116 total tackles, is in the final year of a five-year deal he signed after Buffalo made him the No. 8 overall pick in 2006. Whitner revealed earlier this season that he'd talked about a contract extension with the Bills, but the Bills are reportedly taking a wait-and-see approach to contract talks thanks to an ongoing labor struggle between the NFL and NFLPA.
Whitner took to Twitter early Thursday morning, tweeting the following two messages to his followers. Read into this as you will.
