Are the Bills finally starting to turn the corner?

After beating the Miami Dolphins today, the Buffalo Bills have now won 4 of their last 5. Stop and think about for a second, and honestly ask yourself if you ever thought those words would be uttered this season.

Now consider how the Bills have won those games. They have won with a former 7th round pick at QB, three undrafted WR's and a former UDFA at RB. The O-line has been comprised of UDFA's and off the scrap heap from other teams.

What can be made of this? The Bills have basically been plugging in different players and getting the same consistent results. While some mistakes and bad plays have been made, did anyone expect the Bills to be competitive, let alone win 4 of 5 with the roster that has been put together?

Another conclusion is that the Bills might be taking a step in the right direction as an organization and a team. When you think of the Patriots, the Steelers and the Colts, what do you think of? I think of a team that has an intelligent QB, a good coach and a group of players who can be plugged in without missing a beat.

When the Bills can put in 3 UDFA's at WR and still be productive in the passing game, you know you have the first quality. When you look at the Bills O-line and consider that they had a relatively good game against a great defense, and see that the Bills finally schemed to rush the passer, you see flashes of the second part. When David Nelson and Arthur Moats are solid fantasy plays, you know you have good depth and role players.

Sure, the Bills might be 4-10 this season, but let's not forget that they are four plays away from being 8-6 and having four wins over playoff teams. These wins might not be impressive, but no one asks how you did it, just that you have those wins. I, for one, cannot wait for next year to get here.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
