Why this game is not the end of the world!

I'll say straight up that the Bills did not at all play well for 4 quarters today. There were tons of mistakes, and worse, there were a bunch of injuries to the OL. However, there were a few things that Bills fans should keep in mind and take as positives from the game today.

The first positive from today's game is that Arthur Moats was able to knock out Brett Favre. I can imagine that the Bills did the NFL and the fans a great favor. BTW, Arthur Moats was also in on a few other plays that could have been sacks as well. This kid is gonna be a great pass rusher in the future.

The Bills defense forced 4 turnovers and all of them were interceptions. Everyone was talking about how the Bills should get some turnovers this week, and they did just that.

The WR's didn't play a great game, but Fitzy showed why he needs to be our starting QB next season. So many great throws today, and when he had time in the pocket, he showed he has some skills. You don't throw TD's in 13 straight games by accident. I know some want Andrew Luck, but progress comes in fits and starts, and it won't keep going unless Fitz starts.

The rebuild is going to include days like these, especially when the OL is down to Ed Wang actually playing. Let's keep the faith, and look forward to Cleveland. We aren't going to be a Super Bowl contender overnight, so let us save our real angst for if we are still this bad next season, which I doubt we will be.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
