Good for Studesville
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
so should I pick up Tim Tebow in my money league for hte playoffs?

I hope Tebow still gets a shot at being a QB

I think there's even less of a chance of Tebow starting now

Anyone interested in McDaniels as OC???
McDaniels was clearly not ready to be a HC, but there was no denying he did a good job with the Pats. And who better to help us defeat the Devil, Bellicheat? Plus, if McDaniels can learn from Chan, we might have a HC in waiting.

No way
Considering the horrible personnel decisions he’s made I want him no where near the Bills.

but he wouldn't be making those decisions
DJ was a pretty good DB coach, but didn’t have what it took to be the HC. Josh was not ready to be a HC, but did a good job with the Pats as the OC. Worst case, he never grows into a HC. Just because you failed your first time at being a HC doesn’t mean you can’t learn from it. Even the great Billy Bellicheat got fired his first time as HC.

Meh. Chan is grooming Modkins to be the OC. I like that from a continuity aspect. And the offense has been pretty good this year. The big problem is the D right now. Don’t read that as not wanting upgrades on the offensive side of the ball, but do read it as thinking we don’t need to change our offensive system when it’s actually, you know, working.
Official ledge-talker-offer of the Buffalo Bills.
That is a good point....
But if Chan is still calling the plays at this point in the season, is Modkins going to be ready to be the OC anytime soon? I would really like Chan to be able to focus on being the HC. And since it is Chan’s offense, McDaniels would have to agree with it philosophically or he wouldn’t get hired. I don’t think the offense would change that much.

Call me nuts but I love what Cortez has been doing with Fitzy.

That’s a good point. If it’s not broke, why fix it?

How much is Cortez?
I thought we were giving Gailey all the credit?

Don’t forget that Cortez has coached some pretty successful QBs himself. I have no idea what % is Cortez and what % is Gailey, but if the dynamic they have now is successful, why would we disturb that by bringing a new face in?

We shouldn't
But don’t try to sell that here.

shouldn't stacking talent on talent include the coaching staff?
I find it very hard to believe Cortez deserves the majority of the credit for Fitz…..hell, I not even sure Gailey deserves that much of the credit, especially after that last game

Joe, I could do a good job as OC with Tom Brady and Randy Moss!

yes.....point taken. I think McDaniels is a good OC and could be a good HC with some more experience

I think getting busted for filming other teams helped too. Teams dont want that stigma that has tarnished the Pats legacy.

I think in McDaniels case, that was used as part of the excuse to fire him
The trading of players like Cutler and Marshall without being able to replace them is what got him fired. Could also be that Tebow is not coming along? Everyone knew Tebow was going to take a year or two to develop, but still……he did trade up to get him.

watching Jay Cutler leading the Bears to the playoffs with no receivers must be driving the Broncos brass nuts thinking about what could have been had they kept Cutler and Marshall together and focused on fixing a defense to support them.

you know what though
they are in charge. Its their fault Cutler is gone, not McDaniels. He couldn’t do it without their blessing. Ditto for Marshall.
Alienating the two best players on the team is quite a feat for any coach. Getting rid of the two best players on the team? Well, I’d say that might be a first

Bill Bellicheat
is NE OC as well as HC. McDaniels was just an asst. Major reach by Denver to pick him I thought.

Nice for Coach Stud………..
Hope he gets a chance to earn the job permanetly.

Trade for Tebow?
I am not asking for it, but it is possible. As one artical said, 75% of NFL people won’t want him. If the Bills did, I bet they could get him for the 4th rounder we received for Lynch.
if we get Tebow
I demand a new 2 QB formation to have the moxiest, toughest, gutsiest, inspirational QB situation EVER. Fitz and Tebow! We could call the formation MOXIE.

That would be EPIC!
Line Fitzy up under centre and Tebow at FB. You either snap it to fitzy, who makes a throw, direct snap it to Tebow, who either throws or runs, or you can snap it to Fitzy, who tosses it to Tebow, who makes a big throw. I’d love to see it!

You’ve herd of the flea flicker. We’d introduce the triple lateral flea flicker!
“Ball is snapped to Fitzy, who tosses it over to Tebow, who throws it back to Fitzy. Fitzy hangs onto it… and tosses it back to Tebow, who chucks the long bomb to Johnson…. TOUCHDOWN!

I think you mean
"Ball is snapped to Fitzy, who tosses it over to Tebow….and ooooooh, he’s stuffed behind the line of scrimmage because the RT let a defender through untouched."
