Kawika Mitchell Signs With Saints
Mitchell, who reached an injury settlement with the Buffalo Bills in October, signed with the Saints today. It took him this long to get healthy at the same time the Bills could have used him in their depleted LB corps.

Once again a release I thought happened too swiftly.
I don’t get their business, obviously…but it’d be nice to have a proven vet to turn to now, would it not?

If they didn't place him on IR
that means they would have had a 52 man roster for 12 weeks of the season, possibly 13 because there’s no word if he’s even anywhere near game ready right now.
They made the right move.
Yeah I’m with 289. Who wants a guy hanging around for 12 weeks that can’t play?

you mean like Maybin and McCargo??????
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and
beat you with experience.

You are very kind......I supposed what those two do on the field can loosely be defined as playing :-)

should of - would of - could of
He’s been injured for Buffalo and from what I understand everyone seemed pretty uncertain how he fit in the 3-4 system. I’m not down he got released.
I’m interested in knowing who Buffalo added to the roster to replace Mitchell

unless you’re building for the future and trying to play guys that would actually be on the roster in 2 years and fit our scheme. plus – didn’t we just get a proven vet in Pierre Woods that actually has 3-4 experience and isn’t a 4-3 LB?

Ayodele
He is one of the guys that gets lost during the run plays but he has made some good plays protecting against the pass. Sure he’s not the best but I think he has done better than what I expected with his playing time.
Veek
would without a doubt be our second best LB, as he was the entire time he was with the team.

We need a lot better than Mitchell, though. I’m not upset he was released. Move on.

Im not saying I want Mitchell here
Im saying the fact that he was our 2nd best LB for so long, and still could be now, is a demonstration of yet another position we’ve failed to maintain.
