The Philadephia Eagles have reportedly offered former second round pick Kevin Kolb a contract extension in a move that has been anticipated for some time.
Without extending Mcnabb, which is now unlikely, the Eagles risk McNabb walking after next season without compensation. If they feel they can win with Kolb, and they apparently do, it would be more beneficial to them to move McNabb before this draft where it's possible they could receive up to a first round pick in return.
Reports surfaced earlier in the week that several teams (including the Bills) were showing interest in McNabb.Source updated: the source has updated his report claiming that league sources are denying this move. Stay tuned.
