Other FA options

I was just rummaging around the FA bin and thought i would throw out a couple of names that might be of interest to the Bills this off season. That is if they reach FA.

Richard Seymour (Oakland), UFA- Had a great start to last year, but tailed off as the season progressed. Seymour has said that he did not like the way NE treated him last year, and was not happy in Oakland either. Maybe a little revenge against NE is what he needs.

Jon Kitna (Dallas), UFA. - No pass attempts in '09. Two years removed from 4,000-yard season in Detroit. But if we are looking for a year long stopgap because we cannot find the QB we want through whatever method we end up choosing, I'm sure that Kitna would jump at the chance to start once more.

Vince Wilfork (New England), UFA - Do i need to state that we need a Nose Tackle? I highly doubt that Bill would let him go, but could you imagine Stroud, Wilfork and Seymour as down linemen.

Joey Porter (Dolphins, formerly) UFA - Porter could again be a stopgap on defense, giving us time to get some players through the draft in the next couple of years. He would be the three down linebacker with the Bills that he couldn't be anymore with the Dolphins.

Torry Holt (Jaguars, formerly) UFA - Holt could be another stopgap player who could serve as a mentor to the young Bills WR who haven't demonstrated the ability to use their talent. He inst the WR he once was, but he still is better than anyone else on the roster for a WR2 position.

Just a few quick thoughts as I'm bored at work on a Friday afternoon. Feel free to discuss and/or rip in the comments.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
