Hall of Fame Class Announced Later Today
Crowd at receiver may hurt Bills' Reed : Buffalo Bills : The Buffalo News

Mark Gaughan, the man making the case for Andre Reed's Hall of Fame candidacy, talks about Reed's chances. "A total of 83 percent of all the men who have made the finalist list eventually have been elected." He also notes, "The last time two receivers were elected on the same ballot was 27 years ago, in 1983."

Reeds are ready, still waiting - mcall.com
"Reed has often been compared to Art Monk in terms of their style and grace on and off the field. Remember, it took Monk until his eighth try to get into the Hall of Fame and he retired as the No. 1 receiver of all-time."

Will Andre Reed get the call from the ‘Hall’? : Buffalo Sports Daily
"I think Andre Reed will join Thurman Thomas and Jim Kelly in the Hall of Fame someday. He was the receiving aspect of Buffalo’s triumphant trio, and his numbers are Hall-worthy. It seems only fair. I just don’t see it happening this time around. With legends like Rice, Carter, and Brown on the ballot, he’ll have to wait another year."

Sports on the Air: Less is more for Tasker : The Buffalo News
Steve Tasker won't be on TV much Sunday. "It is [CBS'] philosophy — and I kind of agree with it — there's nothing that I can see down there on the sidelines — unless something happens out of the ordinary — that will add anything that [game analyst Phil Simms] can't do from the booth. ... They don't need me adding fluff to the game."

Bills Home Team Challenge winner hits it big - BuffaloBills.com

"It’s one thing to be the best among all Bills fans in the world, but Steve Hedin took it to another level when it came to the free NFL.com fantasy football game known as Home Team Challenge in 2009. Hedin represented Bills Nation extremely well, not only finishing first among all Bills fans, but second in the world with 1,991 points over the 17 week schedule."

Crowder gives Bills fans sneak D preview - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"That's all he talks about, stopping the run and then try to get pressure on the quarterback," Crowder said. "He preached that to us the whole time. So, to Buffalo fans, that's what he'll do."

Harris: Copying of Steelers continues - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
"The Buffalo Bills paid the Steelers a significant compliment this week. If the Bills couldn't hire Steelers director of football operations Kevin Colbert, then who better to steal away than Colbert's right-hand man?"

Austin sports news and Longhorns | Statesman.com
"And remember the all-time collapse by the Houston Oilers amid the snow drifts in Buffalo, when Bills backup Frank Reich brought 'em back from a 35-3 deficit in the 1993 playoffs? After Reich had thrown an interception that was returned for an Oilers score to make it a 32-point hole early in the third quarter, Bills coach Marv Levy told Gilbert to warm up because he was giving Reich just one more set of downs."

2010 NFL Draft
Mock Draft 2.0 - Mocking The Draft

9. Buffalo- WR- Dez Bryant- Oklahoma State
Jimmy Clausen is a possibility here but Coach Gailey has shown that he could get production out of lower level talent. Dez Bryant adds a dynamic playmaker to the offense and whoever is at quarterback well be happy with this pick. The Bills might be making the switch to a 3-4 defense so if someone rises up the board that fits the scheme, which could be the pick.

Chat on NFL.com was great. I loved his answer on Vick.

The question asked at 10:09 and Jimbo’s answer was my fav. I like that he’s putting together a team of buyers.

Yes

Classic “read between the lines” in that answer. Jimbo is very honest. Holds nothing back.

Regarding a few things

RE SB 27: Okay, I’d bet I wasn’t the only one crying out to God about how He was torturing me with that, though I’m glad I’ve gotten better about the games. (With the way the Bills have been playing this century I’m damn glad I have.)

RE Frank Reich: There’s just something so fitting about one of the best players under pressure I’ve ever seen coaching one of the best players in general.

RE Andre Reed: It’s about bloody time he gets in.
