Tra Thomas Anyone??
Rumor has it (according to SB Nation) that hes being released. Id take him in a heart beat! Removes some of the need to immediately acquire a younger tackle. Also if we decide to draft a tackle in this year's draft, he is a great guy to develop behind. Should come at a reasonable salary, and for all the critics, he definitely has at least one season left in him to start. One of the best of all time. GET IT DONE!
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Put up a fanshot on it this morning when PFT reported it.
And while I would like us to sign Thomas, he is far past his best year and should no longer be relied upon to be anything more than a RT now, and in a reserve role at that. Although he could be a very good insurance policy for Butler, who will get injured again.
I do NOT want this guy as an LT, he’s not good enough to do that anymore. We still need to draft someone to start at LT.
You also have to remember, he’s 35 years old, Thats a lot of time played in this league. And that time could be a deffinate asset for our young guys at Tackle. He could teach them a lot about what it takes to be good in this league.

Thomas
has exceeded his best use by date.
NO interest here,
There's not a wide receiver who is fast enough, that J.P. Losman can't overthrow him on a fly pattern.
Given the state of our OL....
I can’t see how we can afford NOT to at least take a look at him
"The ball is like a cold to Clifford Franklin..... Clifford Franklin the only one catchin' it....Clifford Franklin the only one comin' down wit it!"....... Clifford Franklin
I'd rather have Meredith coming off the bench then Thomas
and it’s not even something i needed to dwell on that long. Thomas is done.
