Ex-Bills lineman Hargrove rallies back - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"The Buffalo Bills unearthed a gem when they identified defensive tackle Anthony Hargrove (pictured top, left) as a player they wanted in 2006. Hargrove wasn't ready to shine yet."
Scott Pitoniak: Call it: Manning 34, Saints 27
"Back to Polian, I can't help but wonder how different the history of the Buffalo Bills would have been these past 16 years if he were still in Western New York as GM and president. Purely speculation on my part, but I believe there would have been at least two Lombardi Trophies in the lobby of the Bills administration building at One Bills Drive."
Flashback - The Morning Call - Allentown PA
FEB. 9 2000 -- Andre Reed asks for and receives his release from the Buffalo Bills, ending his 15-year association with the NFL team. The former Dieruff and Kutztown University standout plays one more season with Washington and retires with 951 receptions, 87 touchdown catches and 13,198 receiving yards.
With the whole Super Bowl thing there weren't many Bills links but there was a ton of tweets being sent out by the guys. They'll be interspersed throughout.
Super Bowl Game
WGR 550 SportsRadio - Super Bowl XLIV was a Brees! New Orleans Wins First Championship
The New Orleans Saints have captured their first Super Bowl Championship, defeating the Indianapolis Colts, 31 to 17.
BillBoard: This MVP vote
"The final MVP vote was 18.5 for Brees, 0.5 for Garrett Hartley and 1 for Peyton Manning. (I'm not sure how that Manning vote happened. Maybe someone turned it in early and didn't bother to change it. Or that person really, really likes Manning.)"
Saints make Colts look unprepared - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"Experience was supposed to be the difference-maker for the Colts. They'd been on this grand stage before. The Saints had not. Yet, the Colts were caught unprepared. "
Saints Super Bowl Run Impossible to Predict | Ed Kilgore | WGRZ.com
"The New Orleans Saints got it right the first time, winning the Super Bowl in the first appearance for the long-suffering franchise, and in retrospect, it's amazing how much both skill and downright good luck played a part in their success."

I think thurman is wrong on this one….the super bowl is maybe the most watched tv event there is…you want the guy with experience in the room, not some n00b who is going to be distracted by the sights and sounds of a super bowl locker room.
also, i was so utterly disappointed by the commercials last night…i don’t think i even smiled at a single one.
I wish Kawika would shut it.
The Who are more relevant to music today than most of the stuff he probably listens to. Without Pete Townshend, the amp never “goes to 11.” I wish he’d stick to topics he knows.
Also, I wonder if there’s a beef somewhere between Thurman and Tasker?

why would you think there is a beef between TT and Tasker?
He’s was just saying poor Steve had to see that scene 4 times while he was a player……and so he’s seen that disappointment too many times………

I guess I didn’t interpret the comment that way. Did I mention I dislike Twitter? You have to really know how to read between the lines.

i don’t think that’s how he was saying it at all. I think he was saying it’s the super bowl, a crazy experience, and they should give someone else a chance; steve didn’t need one because he’d already been there

That’s how I interpreted it. I also can’t follow all that dialogue between he, Maybin, and Nic Harris. Someone needs to come up with something a bit better than Twitter. It’s silly that people are now communicating in this way, where information isn’t always as easy to understand as it is easy to obtain.

I have no idea how you came up with this explanation for it.......
To me it reads like Thurman is questioning CBS’ decision to have Tasker interview the losing team in the Super Bowl…….when Tasker was a part of 4 losing teams himself….
But I digress.
