A wrap-up of those who wrap up - AFC East Blog - ESPN
Paul Posluszny was 25th in the NFL in linebacker tackling efficiency with 82 solo tackles and six misses. That puts him one spot behind Jerod Mayo and two behind new Dolphins LB Karlos Dansby. Chris Kelsay was one of the top DL tacklers in efficiency with only one miss (though that doesn't incorporate when he was just way out of position).

"One of the challenges facing the coaching staff is who will fill the nose tackle role on the defensive line."
T.O. not coming back to the Bills - Buffalo Sports Daily
"I spoke to a source, who told me unequivocally that the "door has been shut" on an Owens return to Buffalo. According to the source both sides have respect for each other but remain feeling each are better off without each other."

Video: T.O. already out of options? - AFC East Blog - ESPN

Kawika's Uganda trip blog, days 2 and 3 - BuffaloBills.com
"For the next week Bills linebacker Kawika Mitchell is teaming up with New York Giants defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka in a charity effort to help villages in Kiwanuka’s native Uganda, while also taking in some of the unique experiences that the African nation has to offer. In this installment of Mitchell’s blog from Uganda, the Bills linebacker provides details of their two-day safari, which included a trip across the globe’s middle parallel."
Poz visits Good kids - BuffaloBills.com
"I really enjoyed being here today," said Posluszny. "Depew Middle School is a great community and everyone here was great to work with. I would have to say that my favorite part of the day was talking with Lauren and Billy. They were both nervous to come up on stage and ask me questions, but I think it made them feel better when I told them that I still get nervous before talking on stage too. They were great kids."
DeHaven's rare coaching journey - BuffaloBills.com
"Following his abrupt departure from Buffalo following the 1999 season, DeHaven landed in San Francisco as special teams coach of the 49ers. And though his head coach was Steve Mariucci, there was a three-time Super Bowl champion head coach watching from above on Sundays and making decisions on the club’s personnel." He also worked in Dallas for Bill Parcells and Seattle with Mike Holmgren and of course Hall of Fame coach Marv Levy.

I'm having a hard time understanding why there's no market for Owens.
He was clearly one of the best FA WR signings last year in terms of production, second only to “Who’syourmomma?.”
I look back at his stats from last season with that hot mess, and i’m really surprised he played as well as he did. The ONLY knock on him that I find is how he may require more passes thrown his way than many teams are willing to offer. The Browns, Titans, Raiders, Jaguars, Chiefs, Redskins, Bears, Bucs, Rams…and even the 49ers (that’d be awkward) could really use a guy like Owens.

in all fairness though, how much of that was attributable to him?
Not completely laying the blame off of him, because there were points when he clearly wasn’t putting forth the effort. But when his mind is right, and he has a qb to throw to him, he clearly still has the physical tools.

I agree to a Point, Matt. I think you can attribute a HUGE part of it to the lack of rhythm he was able to develop with the QBs.

I know that but a team trying to throw 7M at him will think twice.

I'm surprised Chicago hasn't had interest

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
Agreed
I always thought that the Bears or Giants would be a perfect fit for T.O. Although, Coughlin would butt heads with T.O. and ruin it. I also put to much credit on the loss of Plaxico to the Giants when really Jacobs is the one that didn’t come through last year. Just like last year I see the top five RB’s going later in the first round with the execption on one or maybe two. That would make the Bears the more logical choice but then you have to factor in the personality difference with T.O. and Cutler.
This is like dumping a new puzzle from it's box. Now let's start putting the peices together. I guess this is what we all asked for.
Kennedy seems very arrogant
I always despised this in a person, but not so much in a player. Kelly was one of the most arrogant players of his time. This could be the right attitude we need at a NT. Especially with Stroud to his left and Williams to his right. We sign this guy and pay him decent money and then draft a NT in the first two rounds, this will add up to a big chunk of dollars for one position. Similiar to Green, decent money, then draft a tackle making the same or more is alot of dollars. I guess in reality, that is where the money should be spent if your not trading for a McNabb, Kolb or yes even Thigpen. Maybe, just Maybe if we bring in the depth, starters at NT and OT during FA along with the current Roster, wouldn’t Buffalo be primed to move up to take Bradford?
