In progress right now over at Mocking the Draft... Uz is in right now for Der Jaeger.. Seattle is on the clock... BTW, both QBs still on the board... It wasn't supposed to start till 1, but it's going quickly already folks.. Uz wants us all there to knock his selections.... :-)
Predictably, many on board representing their teams are willing to trade down, but so far, no takers.. Uz is holding steady for now, not willing to waste picks to move up... So far, so good...

I’m not big on the top 2 QBs, but can’t argue his pick…

So, was I the only guy who liked that trade? He gave up his 3rd, 4th and 7th to move up almost an entire round to grab a top 10 prospect. He sill landed McCoy with the 3rd pick and will have another pick early in the 2nd. Adding three great prospects in a single draft seems like a great rebuild plan to me.

The Bills get Bradford?? LOL!!!!! CHIX would wet themselves. With the extra weight he has put on, I like him a lot more than I did before he was injured. When is his Pro Day? No way this actually happens in real life.

I love Bradford. I think he is a "can't miss" prospect.
I usually never go out on a limb with predictions, but I see Bradford as having a career probably not as good as Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, but as good as Eli Manning, Big Ben, possibly Drew Brees, ect. I think he will be that successful in this league. Just the feeling I get about him.

Basically I have 2 NT’s and 2 OT’s in the next two rounds. Depending on who’s there, I’ll draft 1 in round two and 1 in round 3.

I’m pretty sure he’s not.
He probably COULD play NT if he worked for it, but there’s better prospects for NT I can think of.

Even if Bulaga was there, I would have probably gone for the QB. LT is a pressing need but like it’s been said the Bills need their franchise QB.

If the Bills were to pass on Sam Bradford with the #9 pick
they would regret it for the next 15 years. You don’t pass on a franchise QB, a guy who was talked about as the #1 pick last year AND this year. Considering the only time the Bills were any good in the past 20 years was when Jim Kelly was under center, you don’t draft an offensive lineman over the guy who touches the ball on every single offensive play.

Bradford didn’t work out at the OU pro day, but has his own personal pro day scheduled for the 25th.

The other option was that I took the BLOB in round 2 and then Jason Fox in round 3, I figured the safe route was to go OT there and pick up the extra depth pick.

No, he SAID he was going to send me a BPA list, I was going to look over it and add my suggestions and then he’d pick based on our list.
He never sent me anything so I had to make the lists AND do the picks.

Trading up with a 6th is a definite possibility, probably to get Cam Thomas if it looks like he’s going to get taken before my next actual pick. If that doesn’t happen, I’ll just hoard my 6’s like a miser.

the way the draft played out.
I don’t know if you used this angle to select Bradford, but there has been speculation that if the Rams target Bradford, or Clausen, they might pick Suh and then try to trade him to the team that picks the QB they target and try to trade Suh for him and a 2nd rd 2011 pick. If this were the case, I would do it trade Bradford to SL for Suh and our 2nd rd 2011.
I also like the pick of Saffold over Cody, especially since you picked up an xtra pick, since you took Bradford in the first.

3/4 Defense Draft
Our 3/4 linebackers as of now are:
OLB/A.Maybin
ILB/P.Posluszny
ILB/K.Mitchell
OLB/C.Kelsay
This is not enough of talent for this defense.
Draft R.McClain put him next to P.Posluszny now with K.Mitchell in the rotation.
In the second round you have to also get C.Wootton/DE and or T.Cody and or J.Odrick to play in this system.
Our back four should be as follows:
CB/T.McGee
FS/J.Byrd
SS/B.Scott
CB/L.McKelvin
I would trade D.Whitner to his hometwon Cleveland along with maybe M.Stroud or a future second round pick to get their 2010 first round ppick.
The draft B.Bulaga as our LOT an dthen in the third round draft K.Calloway as our ROT
GO BILLS!
I DONT THINK BUFFALO WOULD TRADE WITH IN THE DIVISION
