Happy St. Pat's Day/ 2nd annual IABWAB
On this national holiday with a particularly beerish tradition, it seems like a good time to re-visit a light-hearted subject: comparing a Bill to a beer! (No minors allowed)
Last off-season's edition of If a Bill Were a Beer was a good starting point, as the comments revealed that many of us have opinions about both these subjects (and it's interesting to look back at where we were.) This year I will get the ball rolling, but hope for some fresh, sudsy ideas from ya'all....
Brian Moorman Anchor Steam Beer
This beer has been around for a long time, and is always top notch. Represents the community as a quality product, and it's hard to find a reason not to like it.
Jairus Byrd Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale
I admit I didn't think I'd like it when I saw the package, but what a pleasant surprise! If you have been looking for a change of pace, keep your eye out for this come fall.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I'm not very good at this game
But i just had a guinness and magners….“a poor man’s black velvet.” I don’t like ciders, but was pleasantly surprised. Tastes guinness but sweeter and thinner.
i like taste testing for this game
You think Marshawn gets his Beastmode from Milwaukee’s Best…The Beast?
the 60....90 and 120
Are something special!!! Some of the best IPA,s out there……If u like the 60 minute try Dales IPA in a can…. It, red and blue like are favorite team and won a bunch of awards for the best ipa.
90’s incredible. I’d say the same about 120, but it’s really expensive. I’m also a huge fan of their brown ale. I might have to have one tonight now.

They do a good job @ Dogfish. If you have netflix, you can watch instantly a documentary called “Beer Wars” that features those guys. Overall, the film is a bit lousy, but it was interesting to see the faces behind Dogfish Head.
a.k.a. Undee
I haven't been able to find the 120.
The 60 is one of my all time fav’s and the 90 is quite delicious. I’’ll give Dales a trt…hopefully it tastes better than how the Bills play.
If you live in Rochester, Beers of the World has it.

T.O.
is a tropical exotic mixed drink

Incognito
Strikes me as a Dundee Porter which is one of my favorite beers, and although Incognito wasn’t one of my favorite players this strikes me as something he would drink.

That’s the exact beer I was going to tie to him. Actually though, it’d be more appropriate for Jason Peters.
I’d nominate Marshawn Lynch for Genny Cream Ale. You know it’s really good, but you know it’s going to do bad things eventually.

For Marshawn,
I’d go with Olde English 40’s

Hangartner
Bass Pale Ale. Moves quickly, not stout at the point of attack.

Happy Drunken Irish Day everyone!
And for the record, I’m WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too drunk to compare any current player to a beer so i’ll go with a classic.
Steve Christie = Molson Canadian. No explanation needed.

I couldn't remember last year's beers
So I figured I’d throw out Whitner as Heineken, and lo and behold, that’s what you named him last year. Short, overpriced and overally crappy. For some reason, some people tend to like it, but most think it’s absolute garbage…..

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
I have to say that Cornell Green is most likely going to end up being that bottle of labatts that you left in your trunk for two years and forgot about. Old, unappealing, and most definitely foul, but if your real desperate, it most likely will get the job done.
That… is a really good description.

Trent Edwards last season.
Samuel Adams Octoberfest. Shows up in September and is good, but is gone and off the shelf by the end of October.
