Idea for Draft
Idea for Draft
This could be a good way to go in the draft I think in the first round the bills have three positions to go for OLB, DT, or LT. I am a big fan of Defenses and I think Buffalo should go with and OLB or DT. Kindle from Texas would be my pick at 9th or if we go with a DT trade down and get Cody late in the first Round. That would give us a chance to get LT in the 2nd round. I just believe with a strong Defense our team could go a lot further than with an LT in the first. Kindle would bring some power and depth to OLB and Cody is a Mountain.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

With Tuesday's FA signings ....
Linebacker and Defensive Front 7 personnel just took a back seat to Offensive Line, Wide Reciever, and Quarterback … in the draft …. in that order
I disagree with having WR in there, especially that high. But when I think about it, I have a funny feeling it’s going to go something like that on draft day. Especially if Tebow falls and guys like Pike or Lefavour are still around as well.
Still, this WR class is poopy.
i will not drinketh thy coolaid...
still need outside LB and a NT
let’s not say we have to draft a OL, WR or QB ahead of those…. BPA there just because it been said over and over doesn’t mean it can’t be said again
keep right on saying it.
take the very best talent available that fits your scheme. no exceptions. eventually you’ll have a roster full of studs, instead of a revolving door for mediocre players.
I think our most important needs are.
LT, NT, QB, OLB, WR
LT protect the QB blindside
NT solidify the middle of the front 7.
QB once you can protect him, then you need one worth protecting.
OLB we have some pieces that may fit especially in Maybin, let’s see how that works out before investing a high draft pick into a complete OLB, might be able to get a situational OLB pass rush specialist who isn’t an every down player in later rounds.
WR We first need a line to protect a QB, then a QB worth protecting, and then a 2nd WR to go along with Lee Evans, I think this can wait til next year unless Chuddy likes a sleeper in the late rounds this year.
There's not a wide receiver who is fast enough, that J.P. Losman can't overthrow him on a fly pattern.

not having an O-line ready isn’t a reason to not draft a QB. Ideally, a rookie QB should have a couple years of development before hitting the field as a starter. I don’t see how maybe having one possibility at OLB means we shouldn’t still draft another, either. Even if he works out, and it’s a big if, that still leaves a hole at the other OLB spot, quite possibly two holes. I don’t like the idea of targeting positions at certain rounds, it’s a recipe for mediocre player acquisition. I feel the team needs to make a list of major of major needs(QB, LT, NT, OLB) and then fill those needs with the highest rated talent, not in any predetermined order. Once your 4 big needs are filled, you continue with the same strategy for the next level of needs. We need to keep in mind that we’re drafting for the long-haul, not just the upcoming season.

Very well said. Completely agree with every point.
I signed up for Second Life about a year ago. Back then my life was so great that I literally wanted a second one. In my Second Life I was also a paper salesman and I was also named Dwight. Absolutely everything was the same. Except I could fly. - Dwight Schrute
I like Kindle...
But he’s a late first/early second round prospect. Taking him at 9 would be a huge reach. Then again, reaching seems to be our draft strategy for the last decade.
I don't like the idea....
Of Kindle at #9 either LT or NT all the way, if Bradford is there, then I say Bradford and LT and DT move to rounds 2 and 3
