Bills take a different approach - Hornell, NY - Hornell Evening Tribune
"Not exactly a who’s who of the NFL elite, and certainly a far cry from the attention-grabbing signing of T.O., but the trio at least addressed some gaping holes on the roster. All three players have been starters in the league, and could easily find themselves in a similar role on a Bills team that is desperate for quality depth at nearly every position." I almost didn't grab the article when I noticed he said the Bills had the eighth pick in the draft...

McShay has no 2nd rd QBs – Inside The Bills
"First of all I have Bradford rated fifth overall and I have Clausen rated 36th on my board, which I understand is lower than most," said McShay. "Even if you consider him a first rounder I don’t have another quarterback with a second round grade in this class. They’re the only two players, Bradford and Clausen, that I have with grades in the first two rounds." McShay says a player drafted in the first two rounds should start in their rookie season.
Twist to Bills pick in Casserly mock – Inside The Bills
"Casserly had four offensive tackles going in the top 9 with the Bills getting Trent Williams. Russell Okung (#4 – Wash.), Bryan Bulaga (#6 – Sea.) and Anthony Davis (#8 – Oak) were all off the board already in his mock." Casserly also thinks the Bills could take Derrick Morgan since "Chan Gailey recruited him."

Joe D. takes on Brees – Inside The Bills
"Joe DeLamielleure is calling out Drew Brees for what the Pro Football Hall of Fame guard believes is a "window dressing" resolution to put two retired player representatives on the NFLPA Player Board of Representatives as non-voting members."
Who would be the Jets opponent on a Thanksgiving Night home game? - Gang Green Nation
"I think the easiest team to eliminate from the above group would be Buffalo. The Bills have only one winning season in their last ten and last won a playoff game back in 1995. Buffalo also generates very little in terms of a national buzz. Translation: bad ratings."

Amidst the March Madness. Kevin Curtis cut by the Eagles. I'm willing to bet the Bills take a long look at him.

Sums up the 2009 Bills perfectly, doomed from the start.
“The Bills went into the 2009 season with an unproven, injury-prone quarterback and an offensive line with three starters that had taken the same number of NFL snaps as Sandra Bullock. Yes, it worked with Jason Peters, but in hindsight leaving the protection of Trent Edwards’ blind side to the likes of undrafted players like Demetrius Bell might not have been the best of ideas.
Successful teams are built on a foundation made up of a good head coach, an efficient quarterback and solid play on the line. The Bills lacked all three in 2009, and the (nonexistent) combination was a recipe for yet another mediocre season, which is just what the Bills gave their fans. "

D-Bell was undrafted? I could have sworn that he was at the very least a round 7 pick!

I had a feeling someone would say we would take a look at Curtis. If hes over his injury problem, its probably not a bad pick up… he just had a 1000 yard season in Philly a few years back. But I would be skeptical of him due to his recent injurys

Unrelated but better here than as a new post
I saw Chris Brown at the ‘Cuse game tonight. I have to admit I was more excited to see him than most celebrities/athletes. I wanted to ask for a picture but he was laying down some basketball analysis on someone and I didn’t want to interrupt… So instead I just creepily hovered around for a minute.
