It could happen.
It is looking more and more likely that the Bills could draft Tim Tebow in the second round and I am getting more and more excited about the idea. If this is something we are planning to do though I really think we need to move back in the first to get and extra pick, something that is not easy to do.
There is a team that could be willing to do it though. The NY Giants really need an ILB and a OT. There is not much chance of a quality tackle being available at 15 or the LB they need either. If Rolando McClain is still there at 9 however the might be willing to move up and get him. We could swap firsts and thirds and get an extra second in the trade. The numbers work out just right. By doing this we can take either Trent Williams OT or Dan Williams NT, whoever is left. Then in the second get Tebow and either an OT if we took Dan in the first or a NT (Cody maybe) or OLB if we selected Trent. Now We have a new QB, OT, and NT or OLB that can really help our team. Of coarse this is all if we are planning on taking Tebow in the second and if he is even still there at 41. Who knows but it sure is fun to speculate.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Side Note
If Tebow is not the way we are looking to go I still like this trade idea and the QB I wold look at is Skelton in the 4th ro 5th round. He could be a great project QB.
Wood
I like the Angels in the Outfield reference.
Im not against trading back at all, we need picks. But we cant just trade back, just to trade back either. If there is someone we could use/want/need at #9… we better take him

I think that scenerio would be awesome for buffalo, but who would the ravens take with the #9 pick? Mclain to step in when Lewis retires? is that enticing enough for them to give up so much?
We give up our 9th pick and a 4th round next year for Gaither and a 3rd pick this year

I think you could see Tebow or McCoy in a Bills uni, and whichever is there at 41 is the guy… unless of course we don’t draft either of them, or any QB for that matter, get the team up to snuff and draft a QB next year… who knows
It is Brohm’s Bills jersey that is the least stained with doo-doo... GO BILLS
Tebow
In my opinion, I do not believe that Tebow will still be available when the Bills draft in the second round. It seems like his draft stock keeps on rising and someone is going to snag him before the Bills have the opportunity to draft him. I believe that the only way we can get him is if we either take him at 9 (which does not seem likely) or we have to trade up to get him
or if we do trade down with Baltimore like is mentioned above we could grab Tebow with with the Ravens first rounder at 25, so we wouldnt have to pay a top 10 QB, just a first rounder salary….that way we get a proven starting OT in Gaither and a potential franchise qb in the first round. But again, who would the ravens want at #9 to make it worthwhile for them?
there is way to much hype for Tebow to the bills
I think Gaily can make tebow a realy good Qb in his version of the spread offence worked for 7th round 6 foot Tyler thigpen but when it comes to the draft. its all smoke screens I havent heard anything about Lefevour and very little about McCoy and those looming Mcnabb rumors.if they take a Qb at all this year i think it will be one of those two who could excel in Gailys spread also.
If Anthony Davis falls to 22, would you trade your second and third round picks to move up and grab him before the Packers do?
If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.
