Adam Schefter on his Twitter feed: "Filed to ESPN: After signing DE Jarvis Green earlier, Broncos agreed to a three-year deal with former San Diego DT Jamal Williams."

Guess that's one more FA that we need and won't get.

I’m becoming slowly frustrated.

I guess the transition to the 3-4

includes simply standing Schobel and Maybin up…

Many of the experienced 3-4 players available are going quickly. Who’s still out there besides Dwan Edwards, Larry Foote and Joey Porter?

I think that you just named the only guys left.

I’m not so much disapointed about Green, but I really wanted Williams.

Nick Eason, Travis Kirschke and Bryan Robinson, off the top of my head.

Is it bad that i have no clue who any of them are?

If you want my honest opinion, yes, yes it is.

Alright, time to google some players.

OK Eason wouldn’t be bad, but deffinatly a stop gap type guy. Rotational at best with us. But at 29, he could serve us well for a few years yet.

Travis Kirschke I wouldn’t go after. He’s a marginal player at best, and he’s 35. I don’t think that he’d fit with the direction that we’re trying to go it.

Robinson is in the same veign as Kirchke. Old, slow and extremely medeocre, so I’ll pass on him as well.

Of corse all of these opinions are solely based on quick reads of scouting reports and the last 2 years worth of stat lines. Still wouldn’t mind Eason, but thats about it.

The more I see, the less I know.

Step away from the ledge.

Jamal Williams isn’t a spring chicken and hasn’t been reliable very recently for the Chargers. He wasn’t going to make the defense #1.

Plus I believe they guaranteed him a lot of money. Isn’t worth it.

Denver will be rebuilding that defense in another year. They’re getting old rather quickly.

Frustrated already? Give me a break

It’s pretty bad that we’re not giving Nix and Gailey any credit so far in free agency. They’re starting from scratch and they’re going to pick players they like. If things are this bad in a pretty barren free agent year, I can only imagine what the backlash is going to be when we pass on picking one of the “favorites” in the draft.

Relax, sit back, and see what happens. It’s not like we’re competing for the division this year anyways. And if by chance we somehow do compete, I would think that everyone would be thrilled.

We’ll be competing for the division title in 2014-2015

"The one commonality in both places (Oakland and Buffalo) is an aging owner who keeps interfering too much. Ralph Wilson continually butts his nose in the football operation and tells the team who to draft"
