What about Jake?
I seem to remember that many people were on board with bringing Pennington onboard to hold the position for a year or two and groom a young QB. I would propose that bringing Delhomme in for the same reasons wouls be something to seriously consider. He has the attributes that would play well in Buffalo, courageous (maybe to a fault), aggressive, accountable, and most importantly a leader and commander of men. I believe these are the attributes that would help mold a new, young QB as to how to be a professional.
The QB I have in Mind is John Skelton of Fordham. Has the physical tools, and one could assume the intelligence(Fordham), but is raw and needs time to learn. I believe Jake would be the perfect role model for what we have been missing here in Buffalo. I might suggest that the money would not be as important as he is still getting money from Carolina, but I could be wrong. Thoughts?
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

Because he's talking about Delhomme????

"As the governor of Louisiana once said, the only way Chris Kelsay can lose his job is if he got caught in bed with a dead girl or a live boy."
I can't recommend even entertaining the thought.
Delhomme is finished, plain and simple. He’s lost his confidence, mechanics, and apparently the entire left side of his brain. I would rather have ANY of the QBs currently on our roster named the starter tomorrow than to sign him. I respect what he’s accomplished in his prime for sure, but those days are long since behind him.
Is it just me...
But it no wonder that the guy is finished – a grown man is not supposed to cry like that. Wow what a disgusting seen, I felt bed for the guy he really looked pathetic.
I never really liked the guy. He had a great line, great backs and a couple of great receivers and an above average defense that made him look better than he ever was. Oh and I almost forgot, he had a great coach that knew how to call a game.
I personally am not interested at all.
Nothing left to say... the clock is ticking...
Man, thought you meant Plummer…guess it IS one of those days..

If anyone....
If we were to bring in any of the exiled, I would like to see Bulger. I don’t think he makes it through the offseason with the Rams.
I, personelly, think he still has some gas left in the tank….
What about him?
Delhomme is so bad, that I assumed you were referring to Jake Plummer when I read the title of the post.
I think I answered your query.

haha, I thought Plummer as well...
No to Delhomme!

Jake
We don’t need a fourth “jake”. I hope we choose to draft a QB, either this yr. or next. So tired of picking up other teams questionable QB’s. Let’s wait!!!
