Could the Bills be serious about trading Lynch?
Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports reports that an unnamed (for now) Pro Bowl running back is on the trading block.
Robinson (via Twitter) says that knows the name of the tailback and the teams involved.
I know there are mixed feelings about Lynch due to what he "could" be and the depth at the position. I am of the fan base that wants players to put up or shut up. I loved Lynch coming out of college. When he would actually get into his "beast mode" it made watching him truly fun. I just can't handle his off field issues anymore much less his lack of productivity on the field. I know it is gets tiresome to hear but we truly do need guys with good character. I am hoping we hear that it truly is Lynch and we get at the very least, a 3rd rounder for him. It will be interesting to see what CHIX can make happen if it is Lynch they are speaking of. Maybe we could get McCluster in the 2nd or 3rd.
GO BILLS!!
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I think it’s very likely that that article is indeed about Lynch. I saw rumors of Lynch to the Chargers where we get Merriman or the Lions, where we would acquire OLB Julian Peterson. Draft picks are also a good possibility.
I think Lynch for Merriman straight up would be a pretty fair deal.
There's not a wide receiver who is fast enough, that J.P. Losman can't overthrow him on a fly pattern.

Lynch has a ton of talent, but.....
he’ll be traded. No way he’ll get along with Gailey. He doesnt want to be here. He makes Travis Henry look like a ‘character player’ by comparison. Henry gained 1,300 yards on a broken leg. Lynch is a bum.
Thats a little harsh......
hes not a bum……..a bit immature perhaps……….hardly a bum.

Something to keep in mind is that Lynch’s lack of production in 2009 was related directly to his suspension. First, he lost 3 games which, were he the featured back, would have netted him at least 200ish yards. Second, and more importantly, those 3 games were all the Bills needed to figure out that Jackson could carry the load….which led to diminished playing time. Several teams likely see Lynch as a viable feature back—-not that they’ll admit it to the Bills as they attempt to get Lynch away from Buffalo as cheaply as possible.
Personally, I like the idea of trading Lynch with Seattle (saw it on another thread—sorry, don’t remember who to credit) in order to move ahead of Cleveland. Should Buffalo not be interested in Clausen (for whatever reason) then Buffalo would be the team that would benefit from the Clausen Sweepstakes. As many others have noted, Clausen isn’t going to get past Cleveland if Bradford is off the board.
It can always get worse. Let me tell you how.
I mean I guess I wouldn’t be against getting good value if we did trade Lynch. However he has yet to mess up again which would definitely be the last straw. I just wish he played like he did his first year. I loved Lynch in years 1 and 2 but he has done some dumb stuff. I wish he had a mentor that would maybe help him out and get him back on track but it may be too late. And I am definitely for a team full of high character guys so I guess I could deal with him being traded. I just hope we are able to replace or upgrade his spot. I would definitely love Spiller but I don’t see us drafting him…however if Clausen and tackles that we want are gone, why not
One rotten apple......
It all boils down to attitude. A bad attitude in the workplace is like cancer. Yea he’s talented but you’re not gonna to work for me with a piss poor attitude. Cut the cancer like they did with MaGahee. Personally, I think these young guys come here and uses Buffalo as a stepping stone and I’m tired of it
They probably look at their time in Buffalo as a teacher does internship.
