Over the past decade the Bills have consistently gone after "needs" with high draft picks. Every year they make it a point to satisfy needs at specific positions. This was not the case Thursday night, the BILLS took the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE in C.J. Spiller. If they went down the road of filling a "need" they would have drafted the 3rd or 4th best Offensive Tackle in the Draft with the 9th OVERALL PICK, this is something I could see the Bills administration of the past decade doing. With Buddy Nix taking Spiller it really makes me feel comfortable for the first time with the future of the Buffalo Bills
in his hands. (even though he probably wont be around for too much of the future, hes 70) Teams like the Chargers
seem to always take the BEST PLAYER AVAILABLE which is why they are the most consistent teams in Football the past five or 6 years. I really didnt believe Buddy Nix when he said he was going to take the best player available but he did and with that pick I believe we are heading in the right direction for the rest of this draft and a fresh start in Buffalo. Lets hope the smart decisions continue in Buffalo and we continue to get the most out of what we have. Spiller alone just validated my Season Tickets this year, Go Bills!!!
