"There’s a little bit more speed on the field than I thought," Gailey told Buffalobills.com. "I think we’re a little faster and quicker than I thought as a whole. Monday Morning Quarterback - Peter King - SI.com

"And if this [Brian Cushing's] suspension is the result of a positive test at any point during the 2009 season, I'm in favor of stripping him of the defensive rookie of the year award and giving it to second-place finisher Jairus Byrd of Buffalo. These are awards lorded over by the Associated Press, not the NFL, so this is not an NFL decision. I plan to have more on this in my Tuesday column."

Ravens Respond to Gaither Rumors | WIVB.com

Going for a tangent here...

In no way relevant to the blog (and not sure where else to ask this question), is anyone else going to the Pearl Jam show tonight at HSBC Arena? If so, i’m planning on meeting a group of people at Pearl Street before the show.

Any trade for Gaither involving McKelvin would be madness and I’m glad to see that the Bills aren’t even entertaining the idea.

Orton to the Bills? HAHAHAHAHA

Please, that’s laughable, he’s no better than what we have now.

And with the 9th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select...C.J.Spiller?

Man I disagree with that. I think Orton is a competant QB. :-) Of course I thought Jason Campbell was, too.

I’ll agree to disagree. And I think Jason Campbell has a good bit more upside than Orton, personally.

That’s fine. I’m not going to make a passionate plea for Orton. He did pass for 3800 yards last year and 21 TDs. Nobody on the Bills roster has ever been close to that. He had an 87 QB rating, too.

You can't have CHANGE without CHAN.

if Orton was a FA.....then I could understand grabbing him up......

but to give up anything to get him would be too much…….considering what we already have……..

Unless you could do a one for one swap with one of our current QB’s.

That’d be the only way I would make the deal.
