Ed Bouchette: Changed vote from Byrd to Cushing
Wait a minute, what? I'm extremely interested in how Bouchette, the only voter to make the switch to Cushing the second time around, is going to explain his decision.

He’s already explained it. He disagreed with the re-vote, so he voted for Cushing.

if he disagreed with the re-vote he shouldnt have participated.
"I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly"
I agree, he wouldn't have been alone in doing so, either.
Protesting the re-vote by supporting the man who caused the whole debacle anyway is a confusing way making his point.

According to PFT many of the voters that re-voted for Cushing weren’t actually voting for Cushing, but voting AGAINST the re-vote. To me that’s the biggest cop-out possible. If you disagree with the re-vote then GROW A PAIR and ABSTAIN your vote. Other writters did it. Five writtres acknowledged that the re-vote was a bad idea and did the very difficult decision of not taking part in it. They had the courage to do it. The rest of them are just that voted for Cushing in protest of the revote are just gutless in my book.

Lost in this whole thing is that it doesn’t really matter at all :) It’s just a bunch of stodgy media types trying to make themselves seem relevant. Sort of like the “AP Polls” in college sports. Much ado about nothing.
