basically this means that there are actually 32 different organizations instead of one... they did however comment that the NFL is a different kind of animal and could lend itself to anti-trust practices normally illegal to other companies that would be allowed in the NFL. this has nothing to do with collective bargaining, and the decision was narrowly tailored to merchandise....
