While I was making a post on BuFaL0nians post, it got me thinking of a few things.
Maybe we got it right by bringing in Curtis Modkins a guy that has really done a great job in Arizona with their running backs.
Maybe we got it right by bringing in George Edwards a great teaching coach that has really good knowledge of a divisional opponent.
Maybe we got it right by bringing back a Special Teams coach from the glory days
Maybe we got it right by keeping the coach that helped our secondary become second in turnovers last year.
Maybe we did everything right, but what if we didn't what if we did everything wrong, and our offense is even worse then last year, and our D goes from 2nd to second last, and what if our 3-4 defense is so bad we have to go back to the 4-3. The GM and New Head Coach really took a shot in the dark on this one.
But if there is one thing I am sure of absolutly sure of is that this team like it or not or believe it or dont will WILL be better then last year!.
Because for the first time since Marv Levy, we have an expierenced offensive minded coach (and i dont know how offensive levy was but what he did was pretty solid) with the intangibles behind him to back it up. Dicky J was about as offensive as Bruce Bowen, Gregg Williams well he was Greg Williams, Mularkey had absolutley no idea how to be a head coach, Wade Phillips has shown how offensive he is by Garrett making almost as big of a salary as he has to call the offense,
Dont get me wrong I think Wade phillips was a pretty solid coach and think he still is but I mean our offense has been dreadful since 96 and I think that might change this year, I think Chan will provide a ray of light in Buffalo to an offense that cant get any worse, so on the bright side of things it can only go up from here.
