John DiGiorgio retires
"I just wanna say thank you to everyone that has ever supported me throughout my career. I've done everything I could in therapy to try to get my knee healthy and get back and play the game I love most. Unfortunately I fell a bit short. I recently decided to retire from the NFL and gladly accept a teaching and a coaching job at Chippewa Valley High School.
Thanks for all the support,
Go Bills!

Good Luck John!
You were always one of my favorite Bills!
Why?
Because I thought you were a real gamer. You did whatever was asked of you.

Good Luck John
you really played hard, and “beyond your measurables.” one thing they can’t accurately measure is your heart, and man, you played your heart out for the Bills. Too bad to hear, but best of luck in the future, and better to retire a former Buffalo Bill, than, like, a Dolphin or something… : ) Just playin. Good luck at Cheppewa Valley and I hope you bring home a title!

~Bruce Coslet
Good luck with all of your future endeavours, Coach DiGiorgio.

I really envision a coaching career for John; he always seemed like a very bright guy with the right approach to football. During the 2008 season, where he finally got the opportunity to play a lot largely due to Poz’s injury, he proved that he absolutely belonged in the NFL and some of us, including myself, were asking the question if he actually could become a legitimate starter in the NFL. Unfortunately, injuries made sure that we didn’t get the the answer to that question.
"The one commonality in both places (Oakland and Buffalo) is an aging owner who keeps interfering too much. Ralph Wilson continually butts his nose in the football operation and tells the team who to draft"

Good Luck
Good Luck John and may the force continue to be on your side. Through hard work and determination you beat the odds and were able to play football in the NFL. That is something that the majority of us could only dream of!!! You exemplify the spirit of competition and the willingness to work hard to achieve your goals even though you were the underdog…
Salute!!!!

Dang it for us, great for him. That guy was like my favorite Bill in recent memory.

Well he hasn’t been on the roster in a year. Gailey had no connection to him.
