How will the RB workload be split? - BuffaloBills.com
It’s a question that has been extremely popular since C.J. Spiller was drafted ninth overall by the Bills in late April. With a game breaking talent like Spiller added to an offensive backfield with Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch, how will the rushing workload be divided?
Who will start at quarterback? - BuffaloBills.com
"Close because none of the three candidates convincingly separated themselves from the other two in the competition. Brian Brohm, Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick all had their fair share of opportunity through the course of the spring and were all new to Gailey’s offensive scheme. The only signal caller who saw his reps cut back toward the end of the spring practices was rookie seventh-round pick Levi Brown, who is very much in the team’s plans down the line."
Pitts visits Buffalo
OL Pitts visits Bills - BuffaloBills.com
"Pitts (6'4" 308) is an eight-year NFL veteran that has spent his entire career with the Houston Texans, where he has been a starter since the club made him a second-round pick in 2002. He's played primarily left guard for the Texans, but has also spent time at left tackle."
Pitts a proven player – Inside The Bills
"What should be noted here is that the Bills likely see Pitts as veteran depth for the interior of their offensive line, not starting material. The club has a lot of faith and stock in Levitre and Wood at the guard spots."
Training Camp Talk
Expect tough auditions as defenders seek new roles - The Buffalo News
Allen Wilson looks at the key position battles on defense in anticipation of training camp. DL depth, starting ILB opposite Poz, Outside linebacker, nickel corner and fifth safety are the top he's watching.

DiGiorgio story not uncommon – Inside The Bills
"Some fans hear that the average NFL career is just four years and some find it hard to believe. What makes that average so low are stories like that of former Bills LB and special teamer John DiGiorgio. Knee injuries compromised his career just when it was getting started, forcing him to announce his retirement on his Facebook page."

I really don’t see the Bills being the second worst team in the league. In fact, I don’t see them as one of the 5 worst teams.

I’m actually surprised they’re ranked ahead of the Rams. They’re much further along in the process than the Bills. If they get some more help at WR, they might rebound sooner than most people think.

You're kidding right?
STL has a wretched OLine (even tough they have some talent) even by BLo’s standards…they’re DLine is no better. They have no QBs either, Bradford is not ready and if he starts, they are in for a long season. They’re division is easier, but they have just as many problems as BLo does.Yes, they have a franchise QB on the roster, but they dont have a vet to teach him or start the season for them. Keith Null might start for the Rams at the beginning of the year, yeah, Keith Null. People might talk crap about TE, but he is so far ahead of both Bradford and every other QB that STL has. We have better WRs, RBs, TEs, Olines are equal, we have a better DLine, better LBs, and a much better secondary. Just because they have a QB (who is not yet ready to contribute, plus he will likely hold out) does not mean they are farther along that BLo. Just sayin.

Sam Bradford is the furthest thing from my mind when talking about them being well on the road to recovery. He’s a bonus, which will be true only if he pans out. Still, you can’t sit there and disagree that St Louis has started to shape their novel, while Buffalo is still figuring out who the writer will be.
You seem fairly intent on arguing today. Just saying.

Does it really matter?
26th or 31st….big deal. We’re still one of the worst teams in the league and picking high again.
I don’t understand why so many Rumblers get upset when some guy ranks them so low in some meaningless preseason rankings???

Wouldn’t mind a couple more of these through out the camp or even class work, but that might be asking for a bit to much.

What do you mean almost????
I mean compared to what we are used to hearing from our HC, that almost made me crying tears of joy :-)
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a opening drive
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow dream of TDs
And wins for a change
I am inspired.....or drinking to much ChanAid :-)
Inspired by Chan and the Scorpions, “Winds of Change”
I follow fans from bars
To seats surrounding 100 yards
Desperate for a sign, of change
An August summer night
Players passing by
Listening to them believe, in change
The division is closing in
Did you ever think
That we could be so close, to competitive
The future’s in the air
I can feel it everywhere
Growing confidence, in change
Chorus:
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a opening drive
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow dream of TDs
And wins for a change
Rising from my seat
Gut wrenching memories
Are buried in the past, till the 4th quarter
I follow the football
Down the field, they throw it long
No whistles call it back, for a change
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a fourth and short
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow cheer and scream
With you and me
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a two minute drive
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow share their dreams
Of victory
The wind of change blows straight
Into the face of time
For more than 10 years we’ve lived in pain
Prayed for a coach with half a mind
Ralph and Russ stay out of the way
And let CHIX build a dynasty
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a glory night
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow dream to be
Champs of the AFC
Take me to the magic of the moment
On a February night
Where the Bills fans of tomorrow dream of Lombardi’s trophy
A Super Bowl win, for a change
I wonder if the Scorpions would be willing to sing this before the opener ????
OK Kurupt, say something pessimistic to bring me back to reality :-)

that's not your typical BB.com production
Buddy and Chan really like Wood.
Bring on the 2010 NFL season! Go Bills!
Man
Florence is ready to play this year.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
On my way in this morning...
550 had a segment about last season’s games. They couldn’t recall much of what the Bills did week to week. Howard Simon noted how all he could do was recall what the opposition did. I found it hilarious.

Forgive me for not being able to retain the concepts behind it all...
Do the Bills get a compensatory pick when Owens signs somewhere else? Or no because he’s an UFA, who is no longer a part of the team?

depends, i beleive, on the # of snaps he takes with his new team. Then they get handed out after the season is over
We got the tools, We got the talent
Also depends on the playing time of their own new FA's....

Also, I think he very well may be seriously interested in the Jets. They’re the subject of Hard Knocks, they play near one of the biggest destinations in the world, and they were 1 step away from the SB. I still think he’d do best going to the Vikings, and his season would play out similarly to last year’s if he joins the Bengals.

totally disagree about the Bengals...
if TO were to go there, he would have Carson Palmer rather than TE & Fitz, big difference.
