Bills Make Three Roster Moves As Camp Opens
The Buffalo Bills have announced three roster moves on the first day of 2010 training camp.
As expected, veteran pass rusher Aaron Schobel was placed on the Reserve/Did Not Report list, as he continues to weigh his playing future. Under league rules, any player placed on Reserve/Did Not Report can be added to the active roster at any time, except for the period dating from 30 days prior to the close of the regular season through the end of the post-season. This shouldn't affect Schobel's timeline, nor the team's, in any way.
Meanwhile, second-year linebacker Nic Harris and third-year safety Jon Corto were placed on Active/Physically Unable to Perform. Harris and Corto can, again, be added to the active roster at any time, but cannot be placed back on Active PUP after camp practices have started.
C.J. Spiller is the only other player not in attendance, due to what is now a contract holdout. Buffalo takes the practice field for the first time this year at 3:00 PM this afternoon.

Also worth noting: Schobel does not count against the active roster on that list. If Spiller signs before Schobel decides he wants to play, the Bills won’t have to release anyone until Schobel comes back, or vice versa. They’re at 79 right now (Harris and Corto do count against the active roster).

Just mere minutes away?

as a Bills fan...
…it seems that way every year. The playoffs would be a sweet surprise, but realistically, this is just year 1 of the CHIX era. Can we really expect anything more than a rebuilding football team?

how does Schobel come back?
It’s hard for me to imagine that Schobel can decide to come back mid-Aug and get up to speed on his new position by week 1? Would he accept not being the starter for week 1? until he gets up2speed?
I’d love to have him back, I just worry for the first couple of weeks, he’s really got a lot to learn…

He'll play
they would probably throw him on just to rush the passer…

T.O.
With all the T.O. news on ESPN today, it has really gotten me excited for football myself. Only due to the fact that he was wearing the Bills uniforms in all his highlight clips today. Other than that I really don’t give a crap about T.O. and his signing with Cincy and then arriving late. What a jerk!!!

By the way
The white throwbacks still look the best. Too bad they are illegal this season.

Nic Harris
What happened to him???
Jimmy McGinty: You know what the difference is between a winner and a loser?
Shane Falco: The score.
Something with his knee. Not quite sure exactly
Is this your homework, Larry?
