i was going to put an unfulfilled guarantee comment – but alas, we’ve beat this dead horse before.

I'm going with...
I’m saying it was David Stern :) That guys fines people left in right. I saw yesterday Donte was trying to get Labron to stay in CLEV. I’m going with a tampering charge.
right...
yeah i did see that. reported right on the team website as I recall. certainly is very believable. too bad really… that boy needs to just stop opening his mouth to the press. I know he wants to be in view so he can change oerception, but everywhere he goes and everything that happens ends up making things worse.

if its tampering
then it wasn’t even worth it… Lebron going to Miami anyway! haha

Maybe he was making Wang jokes at a team meeting?

I wonder how many Wang jokes have been made at team meetings… I mean if the O-line is even mentioned here on BR we go at them… I could only imagine how many they come up with inside the lockerroom or meetings. haha

Of the awesomeness of the Wang.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
Ooof
Since he posted on twitter, he must be dying to tell everyone what it was for.

just in video games!
I’d like to know how these guys are taught to invest their money. I think it’s interesting that all these young kids get so much money but most likely have zero idea on how to properly invest in something safe – just curious is all…

I believe the team offers to hook them up with a professional financial advisor if they would like one. That’s become standard in the NFL.
As for Donte, is he talking about himself or someone else’s fine? If so, who is it? That’s a lot of jack for a fine, even in pro sports.
That didn't work out so well for some Saints...

Although, I believe it was the long-snapper rather than the team…

$138k x 16 games = $2.2 million. That’s close to his base salary isn’t it? Maybe he got suspended a game for the time he got tasered?
What the heck did he do this time?!?!

Are you allowed to pay NFL fines in payments?
Or is it lump sum only?

Hmm
I heard they tagged him so they could drop the ticket prices back down.
I think he's faking it

Sorry Donte but you’re telling me one of your two most flattering action photos is of you in practice gear? Sad.
Enjoying my annual three months of optimism.
