I was tooling around nfl.com this morning, avoiding all the paperwork I have on my desk and I was looking at last seasons highlights and post game conferences and one thing cam to mind. I really hope Chan can reverse the mental damage that Jauron had done to these players.
Every post game conference, all I hear is "I tip my hat to them", "nobody expected us to win", "They have several pro bowlers on the team", "they have a great coaching system", blah, blah, blah.
This one irritated me the most, I guess because its the Pats and it was a horrible loss.

Jauron set the bar so low for this organization that if they did win, WOW -GREAT, if they lost, AH, NOBODY EXPECTED US TO WIN ANYWAY.
I am a firm believer that the mental toughness and the billief (sorry, had to throw that in) that you can win every game and that you are just as worthy to win as the next team is just as important as your physical ability on the field.
The upside is that I like what I've been hearing and reading about Chan, I think he is going to be a no nonsense coach that doesn't care about being liked, will not concern himself with "who the underdog is", but will rather field the best players and expect to win every game and instill that mentality in his players.
And I really think that we are going to see some good things from that.
Go Bills!
