What I learned from Fridays game.

1. We are not going to have a major turn around year. Every year for god knows how long I have hope this time of year that the bills will be better then were the year before and shock the NFL world. After watching the game last night I now know that is not going to happen.

2 .Aaron Maybin has gotten better. I know that most people think that he sucks but I watched the game in great detail paying particular attention to #58. What I saw was him getting pressure on the quarterback multiple times. Of course only one went for a sack. He also showed his great speed coming from behind the ball carrier and getting them from behind.  Did he get over powered by the big lineman sometimes….. Oh yeah but when you looked at our pass rush the all of the DE, DT and LB were getting bullied around.  I know that I am in the minority but I liked what I saw and I have hope for the guy.

3. Ryan Fitzpatrick should never be able to play again. Wow he got a touchdown pass to a wide open receiver. I watched him overthrow and under throw receivers all night. I really hope he gets that ax.  Trent Edwards did not look that much better either. God help us. Let’s hope Brian Brohm can shock us all. If we win it will be because of our ground game. BTW I like all of or running backs.

4. One player that stood out to me was Donovan Woods LB#50. Every time I saw that guy he was making a play or right next to the ball. I hope he gets a final roster spot.

Well those are just a few of the things that I noticed and I hope Chan and his staff can improve so that we don’t get slapped around in our next game. Go Bills.
