Keysh's Mind dump - 10 things that I think I know

1) I think Houston would be a great trade partner for Lynch's services. They are hurting right now with Tate gone for the season. I could see them sending us their 2nd rounder in next year's draft. With Bell & Simpson performing fairly well I would see us trading Lynch away (assuming we can get a 2nd rounder in exchange).

2) I think Gaither is still available. I think he doesn't want to play RT, which is why he lost weight in the off season. I think a 2nd rounder could get him.

3) I think I was really happy when I read this morning that Brandon Marshall is back to his old games and that he's been dropping balls lately. Unfortunately I don't think that it will last.

4) I think Chix really want to give Brohm every possible chance to succeed. He gets to start against the Colts 2-3rd teams. I think they view him as the heir apparent. I believe the plan is to start the season with Edwards and finnish with Brohm, reducing the pressure on him.

5) I think the plan has always been to go after locker next year.

6) I think that there's a serious possibility that we go 2-14 (with our best match-up being against KC)

7) I think I still like the job that Gailey is doing, he doesn't sugar coat things and he seems direct and honest about his players. I think I'm really glad not to hear "our players played hard, they really worked hard, we'd love to be 5-0 but we're just going to have to work harder..." Gailey seems like he'll give us something to chew on.

8) I think Nix knows what he's doing. He's positioning himself for a good draft year next year, a year in which we will be picking high and going for franchise type players. The best part of it is that there is surely going to be some kind of Rookie pay scale in place, I think he was brilliant to wait until next season for addressing the QB position.

9) I think Troup was a really good pick at #41

10) I know that I am quite happy that Aaron Schobel has decided to retire as a Buffalo Bill instead of dragging it on a few more years in another jersey. I wish him and his family all the best for the future!
